Shipping & Important Notes

The Juki DDL-5550 machine head weighs approximately 75 lbs.

When the total packaged weight remains under 75 lbs, this head-only unit ships via UPS.
No liftgate or loading dock is required for UPS shipments.
If the packaged weight reaches or exceeds 75 lbs, the order moves to commercial freight (additional charges apply and will be disclosed before shipping).

Minor cosmetic marks can occur during shipping and are not grounds for return. Contiguous U.S. shipping only.

Warranty

Juki industrial sewing machines are covered by a limited manufacturer warranty of 90 days on defects in materials and workmanship when purchased from an authorized dealer.

Warranty protection requires purchase from an authorized Juki dealer and service performed by qualified technicians. Unauthorized service or non-genuine parts can void coverage. Carolina Forest Vac & Sew is an authorized Juki dealer.

Do I need a special table or motor for this head? Yes. This is the machine head only. It requires a compatible industrial table with the correct cut-out and a suitable motor (servo recommended for best control).

Which model should I order? Specify N (medium), NA (light), or NH (heavy) in the order notes so we send the correct configuration.

Is the oil system the same as the full package? Yes — fully automatic lubrication with Juki New Defrix Oil #2.

Do I need a liftgate or loading dock? No. When shipping via UPS (under 75 lbs packaged weight), no liftgate or loading dock is required.
