HomeCare sub-models and Independent Retailer exclusive models typically have a 5-year warranty on parts and labor. The motor and casing are usually covered for 10 years on HomeCare models, with the exception of the Triflex HomeCare, which has a 3-year warranty. 

Other Important Information

The warranty is valid if the vacuum is purchased and installed in the United States or Puerto Rico from an Authorized Miele Dealer and covers defects in materials and workmanship. Miele has the option to repair or replace defective products. 

Exclusions to the warranty include damage from negligence, accidents, misuse, improper maintenance, use of non-genuine parts, ordinary wear and tear, cosmetic damage, and unauthorized repairs. Products used for commercial purposes are also not covered, and the warranty is void for Scout RX1 and RX2 models used commercially. 

Registering your Miele product online or by mail is recommended for warranty service. To file a claim, you can contact Miele Technical Service via email at info@mieleusa.com or by phone at 888-996-4353. Proof of purchase is necessary for warranty service. Extended warranty options are available for purchase.
