Riccar R10E SupraLite — Best Lightweight Vacuum Cleaner for Everyday Floors

Looking for the best lightweight vacuum cleaner that still deep-cleans carpet? The Riccar R10E SupraLite Entry weighs only 8 pounds. Consequently, you can carry it upstairs in one hand and still get a full-size upright clean on carpet, area rugs, and bare floors. Moreover, this 8 lb lightweight upright vacuum uses a 5.5-amp direct-air motor and a wood brushroll to agitate embedded dirt. In addition, the Carpet and Rug Institute Gold Seal confirms soil removal, soil containment, and carpet wear protection. As a result, you get dealer-grade cleaning without the bulk of a 18–22 lb box-store upright.

Why Shoppers Choose This 8 Pound Upright Vacuum

• Only 8 pounds — easy to lift, push, and store; ideal for stairs and multi-story homes.
• CRI Gold Seal — independently tested for carpet cleaning, not just marketing claims.
• 30-foot cord — clean a whole room or hallway without changing outlets.
• Bagged filtration — dust stays in the bag instead of blowing back into the room.
• Headlight + auto-height nozzle — see under furniture; no manual pile dial.
• ABS body + aluminum handle — light like a hardhat, built for daily use.
• Free shipping (lower 48) and zero sales tax outside S.C.

Key Benefits for Real Homes

First, seniors and anyone with shoulder or back strain get a true lightweight vacuum cleaner instead of a “light” 15-pound unit. Next, busy households finish faster because the long cord and self-adjusting nozzle keep you moving. Finally, bagged design helps allergy-prone rooms: swap to genuine RFH-6 HEPA media bags when you want tighter dust control. However, this Entry model is a floor cleaner first. It does not include a bare-floor squeegee, onboard tools, or Riccar VIP service. Therefore, choose the R10E if your priority is a light, simple, repairable upright for carpet and rugs.
